Zecter is a Silicon Valley startup creating technology that makes it easy to share files with others.

We started Zecter because we believe email attachments are not meant for sharing files, and that they are one of the main factors causing the inbox mess.

Zecter offers a better way to share and collaborate, and does so by allowing seamless transfer of files between computers and to the web.

Background

Zecter was founded by David Zhao and Kevin West in 2007. The company has raised capital from Y Combinator and Tandem Entrepreneurs.

Team

	David Zhao Prior to Zecter, David lead development of several Digital Media projects at Amazon. David is interested in anything related to technology and yet he still doesn’t have an iPhone.
	Kevin West Kevin is our resident EC2 expert. He left Microsoft to co-found Zecter. You would find Kevin at the gym or poker rooms when he’s not working on Zecter.
	Vijay Mani Before Zecter, Vijay was at Microsoft developing document sharing products. Now he is our virtual file system expert, keeping ZDrive running smoothly. Vijay is the only person in the team that has completed a marathon. (So he claims)
